Saiyans (サイヤ 人 じん Saiya-jin) are a race of extraterrestrials in the Dragon Ball anime and manga and its adaptive sequels, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super.

Due to its appearance, it can be assumed that, like its GT counterpart, Super Saiyan 4 calls forth the unmatched strength of a Great Ape while retaining the speed and power of the Saiyan.
